I had never used google earth before and I really like it. It would be a fun option to have for kids in the classroom. They can have fun looking up their houses for a fun filler activity, or you could make a tour of important landmarks around the world. It is a very engaging activity to use in the classroom.
I am glad that you found this site fun and interesting. Do a search and see how teachers are using it in the classroom. You will be amazed at what you will find. I am always excited to see how creative other teachers are and it inspires me to do better in my own classroom. I wish there was more time sometimes so that I could do everything that I want to do with my students. It is hard to pick and choose what to do. Hands on or technology or both?
